The school aims to provide students with a wide opportunity to be a part of healthy outdoor activities.
Sports Carnivals
Each year there are Sports Carnivals for children in Years 3-6 in the areas of: Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming. Children who perform well at these carnivals may be selected to represent the school at Area PSSA Carnivals. We place an emphasis on participation and skill development underscored by strong House spirit. The Sport Houses at our school are: COX, EVANS, MACQUARIE and MITCHELL
Kindergarten to Year 2 also have a Sports Day during Term 3 with an emphasis on enjoyment and participation.
PSSA Knockout
Students have the opportunity to trial for school representative teams. The school teams usually participate in State Knockout competitions in: cricket, soccer, netball and touch football. Students may also have the opportunity to participate in various sport 'Gala Days'.
Learn to Swim
Each year the school participates in the intensive two-week 'Learn to Swim' program which targets students from 8 years old and up. It is open to non-swimmers and for stroke development. The program addresses water safety and confidence, and is run by Swim Safe accredited instructors.
