Hazelbrook PS victorious in Round 1 knock outs of Premiers Debating Challenge

This Monday, our champion debaters competed in their first knock out final as part of the Premier's Debating Challenge. They were drawn against another undefeated team, Glenbrook PS.

The topic was related to with whether top performing students should spend one afternoon a week supporting students that are falling behind, to which Team Hazo had to argue the negative.

It was a close-run debate, but the adjudicator was impressed with the strength of our arguments and our ability to counter Glenbrook with well-argued rebuttals, awarding the win to Hazelbrook PS!

We are now in the final 16 for the state, and are one win away from the quarter finals!
